Our Story: A Path to Healing and Renewal
by Breeana Clark
At Seeds of Renewal, we’re more than just a business. We’re a family with a deep, personal connection to this work. We’re a Hispanic and women-owned organization, founded by a mother and her two daughters. And our story, our mission, is rooted in love, loss, and the hope that we can create something meaningful for others who are struggling, just as we once did.
I’m Bree, the oldest daughter, and like many families, we’ve faced our own battles with mental health and addiction. Growing up, I watched my family experience firsthand the pain of losing someone to substance abuse—my aunt, my mom’s sister, passed away from alcoholism. Losing her left a hole in our hearts that we can’t fill, but it also inspired us to do something. We couldn’t sit back and let others experience the same heartache without at least trying to help.

Why We Do This Work
At Seeds of Renewal, we’re committed to helping people who struggle with substance abuse and mental health challenges. We want to offer them a safe, welcoming home—a space where healing isn’t just a possibility, but a reality. We understand that recovery is not linear. It’s messy, complicated, and sometimes feels impossible. But we also believe that healing starts with a sense of safety and belonging, and that’s what we aim to provide.
As a family, we’ve seen how hard it is to navigate these struggles without the right kind of support. We’ve lived it. And that’s why we’re passionate about creating homes where people don’t feel like they’re fighting alone. We want to offer a place where they can breathe, rest, and begin to rebuild.
A Family Affair: Our Mission, Our Heart
Our mission isn’t just a business—it’s our way of honoring my aunt’s memory and helping people who are where she once was. It’s our way of saying, “You’re not alone in this.” We want to provide more than just housing. We want to provide community, a place where people can come together, find strength, and feel supported.
When we started Seeds of Renewal, we weren’t just building a business. We were building a legacy of love and care. My mom, who is the heart of this organization, taught us the importance of empathy and compassion—values that we carry with us every single day. Together with my sister, we’re working to create something that reflects our own family’s experience of love, struggle, and healing.

Why It Matters
We understand how vital it is to have a place to heal. That’s what Seeds of Renewal is all about. We know that the road to recovery can be long and hard, but it doesn’t have to be walked alone. When we opened our doors, we knew that we wanted to create more than just a roof over someone’s head—we wanted to create a space where people can start over, feel safe, and begin to believe in the possibility of a fresh start.
We believe that everyone deserves a chance to heal, no matter where they come from or what they’ve been through. And that’s why we’re here: to walk alongside those who need help, to listen, to support, and to remind them that new beginnings are always possible.
If you or someone you know is struggling, we’re here for you. We’re ready to help you take that first step on the journey to healing.
